Programme Allowance

The Jardine Matheson Group provided funding to ensure the programme can achieve the greatest impact.  The HIM programme will fund the budgeted expenses by giving out one lump sum to the HIM Club as soon as the Club budget is approved by the Advisory Group.

Emphasis on training and promotion

The two-year programme uses a peer-led approach to empowering Form 4 students through a series of interactive activities to become “HIM Advocates”. They are taking the lead at schools in organizing activities through the HIM Club to promote mental wellbeing to fellow students, teachers and their parents.

New Senior Secondary (NSS) Curriculum

Activities of the programme such as volunteer service and Job Attachment Programme (a 2-4 weeks summer internship in one of Jardines’ group companies) are gearing to the ‘Community Service’ and ‘Career-related Experiences’ in Other Learning Experiences of the NSS Curriculum.
