Since its launch in 2002, the programme has proved to be a workable model in promoting mental wellness and reducing stigma associated with mental illness. 96 local secondary schools have joined the programme benefiting more than 100,000 students, parents and teachers.


Summary of research

Every year, Health-in-Mind conducts programme evaluation study pre and post programme to measure participants’ change in mental health knowledge and stigmatizing attitude using objective measurement tools.

In 2011-2013, 124 valid questionnaires were collected. Participants showed improvement in mental health knowledge and stigmatizing attitude post programme.
