The Finale of “Health in Mind – Youth Mental Health Promotion Programme 2010-2012” has been successfully held on 7^th July 2012 (Saturday) at The Rotunda, Exchange Square, Central. Dr CHEUNG Wai Lun, Deputising Chief Executive of Hospital Authority and Mr Ben KESWICK, Jardine Matheson Group Managing Director and MINDSET Chairman, were invited as officiating guests.

This year, 20 students received outstanding awards for the recognition of excellent performance. Apart from awarding certificates of completion to 141 HIM Advocates, trophies were awarded to the speakers of workshops and supporting community organizations.

Student representatives shared their memorable experience and what they have learnt from the programme. Most of the students have learned correct mental health message, reduced misunderstanding and stigmatization on mental illness, built up the spirit of helping people in need, and developed a more positive attitude. Apparently, students benefited a lot from the two-year programme.

To celebrate the 10^th anniversary of Health in Mind programme, “Mental Health Video Production Competition was held, which aimed to arise the public awareness on mental health. The awards of the competition have been announced and presented at the activity.

Congratulations to all graduated HIM advocates; hope all of you could continue to promote mental health message, and contribute to make Hong Kong as a harmonious society.
